Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking a driven engineer to own core hardware and software development for ADAS sensors. You will lead the design efforts for E/E components and ensure robust cross-system integration across vehicle programs.

The role requires a BS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in hardware design and 7+ years in automotive product development, plus strong systems engineering and Six Sigma knowledge. Hybrid work with travel included.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience packaging electronic modules in vehicles.
• 3+ years of Hardware Design of E/E components.
• 7+ years in Automotive Component or Subsystem Product Development.
• Strong engineering discipline knowledge (specifications, systems engineering, FMEA/8D, Six Sigma).
• Effective problem solving and collaboration skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and project management abilities.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead hardware and software core development for ADAS sensors.
• Own requirements for ADAS systems across programs.
• Mentor team members and coordinate with suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
• Lead D&R Application work on programs.
