Ford Motor Company is seeking an ADAS Feature and Software Engineer in Dearborn, Michigan. This hybrid role lets you work from home and on-site within commuting distance.

You will lead verification and validation of ADAS software, develop test procedures, and support automation in an agile team. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 3 years in related work, 2 years in sensor fusion and ADAS features, embedded systems, CAN/Automotive Ethernet, and debugging tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 2 years of experience in sensor technology, ADAS features, embedded systems, and automotive networking.
• Experience with test strategies, plans, cases, and automation.
• 1 year of experience with debugging code and automated test scripts.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and conduct verification and validation of ADAS software.
• Develop test procedures, plans, automated scripts, and cases.
• Define the test setup and support HiL validation activities.
• Identify equipment, tools, and test dependencies; support automation efforts.
• Perform automated and manual test execution, results analysis and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate in an agile Scrum environment and with cross-functional teams.
• Domestic travel up to 10%.
