Ford's Advance Driver Assistance Technology (ADAS) team seeks a highly driven engineer to own core development for ADAS sensors. You will lead hardware and software design across vehicle programs, own robustness documentation, and drive supplier partnerships to deliver cost-efficient components.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure specifications, design reviews, and validations meet the highest quality and safety standards. Hybrid work is available.

Formación

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or strongly related equivalent.
• Experience with packaging electronic modules and components in vehicles.
• 3+ years of experience in Hardware Design of E/E components.
• 7+ years of experience with Automotive Component or Subsystem Product Development tools and processes.
• Strong understanding of engineering disciplines (specifications, systems engineering, design validation, FMEA, Six Sigma).
• Ability to travel and collaborate across teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead core design work for ADAS components across vehicle programs.
• Own and govern robustness documentation (DFMEA, DVP&R, etc.).
• Lead sourcing, cost reviews, and tooling cost analysis with ESOW and specifications.
• Manage hardware/software design reviews and releases for prototype to production.
• Perform Failure Mode Avoidance and Functional Safety analyses.
• Interface with Ford teams and suppliers to ensure spec compliance.
• Support BOM, packaging, and parts release.
• Analyze data to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
