Job summary

City of Jonesboro is seeking a PT Program Staff II to develop and oversee adaptive recreation activities in the Parks & Recreation Department. This safety-sensitive role requires evenings and weekends and longer shifts during city events, with the ability to operate a city vehicle when needed.

The successful candidate will assist with onsite and community-based programs, coordinate registrations, manage staff schedules, and help plan division-wide events, ensuring programs meet community needs

Qualifications

• CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain.
• Valid Driver License.
• Four year degree in Recreation or related field preferred.
• Adaptive recreation planning or sports programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist onsite and community-based adaptive recreation activities.
• Schedule staff and reserve fields; review time entries.
• Plan and implement division and city-wide events and outreach.
• Attend staff meetings, trainings and workshops as required.
• Operate a city vehicle as needed.
