Responsibilities

• Assist Recreation Supervisors in developing and promoting city-sponsored recreation programs.
• Support the Recreation Supervisor in ensuring programs meet the needs of citizens, groups, teams and individuals.
• Provide physical and clerical support for new programs, activities, equipment and materials.
• Coordinate sign-up activities for city-sponsored programs.
• Sign in participants, collect fees, account for monies, and supervise activities.
• Maintain recreation equipment and facilities.
• Monitor activities for safety and compliance with rules.
• Report violations to supervisors or proper authorities.
• Set up and take down chairs, tables and equipment as needed.
• Perform basic clean-up tasks at facilities and events.
• Assist the public in gaining access to programs, facilities and equipment.
