City of Carrollton seeks an Adaptive Programs Intern II to assist with planning and executing adaptive programs and events across Carrollton facilities and trips within the DFW area. You will work under a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, help with social media marketing, and support data entry and reporting.

Qualificações

• Currently enrolled in, or graduated from, a university or community college.
• Maintaining a 2.5 GPA or better.
• Responsible for your own transportation.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing adaptive programs, trips, and events.
• Maintains and updates records and data collection.
• Learn daily operations including tours, opening/closing procedures, programs and spaces.
• Assist front desk and guest service, including tours and answering phones.
• Coordinate or participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions.
• Assist with special events: setup/teardown, supplies, and related activities.
• Publicize and promote programs using various media; manage materials distribution.
• Monitor facility usage and identify hazardous situations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
