Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) is required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire is required.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete all required continuing education regarding acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients of all ages, adjusting plans of care as needed.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes of care.
• Documents in accordance with CTSCP67 and organizational standards.
• Supervises PTA and rehabilitation technicians as appropriate.
• Communicates patient performance and discharge recommendations with the medical team.
