Job summary

The Horsham Clinic in Ambler, PA seeks a Masters Level Social Worker (FLOAT) to provide clinical social work services on designated units with flexibility across inpatient and partial hospitalization programs.

Candidates should have an MSW and 3–5 years of psychiatric MH experience; LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT preferred. Strong communication, crisis intervention, and group leadership skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required.
• LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT - Preferred (not required)
• 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required
• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management
• Experience running group therapy
• Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services on a designated unit in alignment with Horsham Clinic and NASW.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and deliver individual, group and family therapy; participate in treatment planning; discharge planning and case management; crisis intervention and liaison with referral sources.
• Provide direct care under supervision within the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program to ensure a safe and therapeutic milieu.
• Maintain crisis intervention and daily living activities while communicating with referral sources and families.
• The Horsham Clinic provides care across multiple campuses, reflecting community needs and our experienced medical leadership.
