Job summary

The Horsham Clinic is seeking a Masters Level Social Worker (Weekends) to provide clinical social work services on a designated unit. The role involves psychosocial assessments, individual and group therapies, and discharge planning within an inpatient population.

Located in Montgomery County near Philadelphia, Horsham Clinic serves Southeast Pennsylvania and New Jersey with a broad behavioral health program across multiple campuses.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work required.
• LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT - Preferred (not required).
• 3-5 years prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population required.
• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred.
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.
• Experience running group therapy.
• Flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical social work services on a designated unit in line with the hospital's philosophy and NASW guidelines.
• Conduct psychosocial assessments and deliver individual, group and family therapy; participate in treatment planning.
• Manage discharge planning, crisis intervention, and liaison with referral sources and departments.
• Provide direct care under supervision on the Adult Partial Hospitalization Program unit.
