Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a dynamic Masters Level Social Worker for The Horsham Clinic in Montgomery County, PA. You will provide psychosocial assessments, individual/group/family therapy, and participate in treatment planning and discharge planning to support patients across adult mental health services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work is required.
• LSW/LCSW/LPC/LMFT is preferred but not required.
• 3–5 years of experience with psychiatric mental health population is required.
• Inpatient psychiatric population experience preferred.
• Knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age-specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management.
• Experience running group therapy.
• Flexible to reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including children, adolescents, adults, older adults and dually diagnosed patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments and administer individual, group and family therapy.
• Participate in treatment team planning, discharge planning and case management.
• Deliver crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and hospital departments.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic milieu within the designated unit.
• Support Adult Partial Hospitalization Program duties under supervision.
