Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN for inpatient care with at least 2 years of nursing experience in an inpatient setting. The role involves performing patient assessments, creating and executing care plans, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Nurses may float to Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, and ICU units as needed, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary team. The position requires an Illinois RN license, ACLS within a year, and BLS within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure in good standing; IL RN license referenced per qualifications.
• ACLS within 1 year - American Heart Association.
• BLS within 30 days - American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Performs all responsibilities and duties required by unit as specific to the scope of service.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation of nursing care.
• Completes initial patient assessments and develops plans of care.
• Implements and adjusts plan of care and nursing interventions.
• Floats to multiple inpatient units as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
