Job summary

Carle Health is seeking an RN with inpatient experience to join our team in Illinois. The role requires an active RN license in Illinois, ACLS within 1 year, and BLS within 30 days. Two years of inpatient experience is preferred.

The RN will provide direct patient care, document findings, and participate in care planning. The position involves unit-based responsibilities with opportunities to float to Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care, and ICUs as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois per IDFPR.
• ACLS within 1 year per AHA; BLS within 30 days per AHA.
• Associate degree or higher and HS diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct inpatient nursing care across units.
• Documents care and plans of care per unit standards.
• Performs assessments, diagnoses, plans, interventions and evaluations of patient care.
• Precepts staff and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams.
• Floats to Medical-Surgical, Oncology, Orthopedic, Advanced Care and ICUs as needed.
