Job summary

First Children Services is seeking a Behavior Technician/Registered Behavior Technician (BT/RBT) to implement Individual Support Plans under supervision. The role involves working 1:1 with clients across various settings, collecting data, and supporting behavioral goals in home, school, and community environments.

Post-training, BT/RBTs may receive permanent placements. A strong ABA background and experience with children are essential, with benefits including medical plans and a 401(k) option.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years working with children.
• Comfortable in varied settings without direct supervision.
• Strong understanding of ABA concepts and interventions.
• Administrative tasks and documentation responsibilities.
• Proficient with daily documentation in technology tools.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to accept feedback and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Work 1:1 with clients in designated regions.
• Read and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Collect session data and submit timely documentation.
• Support communication, social and behavioral skills.
• Provide interactive therapeutic support to reduce maladaptive behaviors.
• Collaborate with treatment team to improve outcomes.
• Complete admin tasks when billable hours are unavailable.
