Job summary

Gray Media's WLOX sales department seeks a friendly, detail-driven Sales Assistant to provide administrative support to our Local Account Executives and National Sales Manager. The role manages commercial copy, logs, and traffic hub preparation, thriving in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be organized, able to multitask, and proficient with data entry and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). 1–2 years in an office setting and a strong work ethic are expected.

Qualifications

• Organized multitasker with strong attention to detail.
• Capable of prioritizing under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• 1–2 years of office experience.
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Sales Management, Sales Staff, and Master Control each day.
• Order entry/maintenance including avails, proposals, pre/post logs.
• Maintain the commercial, promo, and PSA database in WideOrbit Traffic; filing/purging promptly.
• Confirm traffic instructions to advertisers and agencies as needed.
• Daily management of inventory changes/program changes.
• Fill and proof traffic logs for finalization by the hub.
• Provide a dub list of needed materials for Master Control daily.
• Assist the National Sales Manager with order entry and client requests.
