Job summary

WWAY-TV seeks a detail-oriented Sales Assistant to support Local Account Executives with daily advertising operations. The role includes order entry, make goods coordination, and maintaining client records to ensure accurate, efficient scheduling.

Ideal candidates are organized, deadline-driven, and able to work well cross-functionally with traffic, programming, and finance teams while providing reliable backup coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or experience in business, communications, media, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Local Account Executives with day-to-day administrative and sales-related needs.
• Enter, revise, and maintain advertising orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process and coordinate make goods and other schedule adjustments.
• Assist with resolving order discrepancies, missing information, scheduling issues, and other client/account needs.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to customer orders.
• Communicate with Account Executives, traffic, programming, and other departments as needed to ensure orders are executed correctly.
• Assist Account Executives with reports, account information, and sales-related projects.
• Help monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding items to keep accounts moving efficiently.
