Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company in West Palm Beach is seeking an Account Executive to sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and agencies. You will apply the SSP to analyze needs and deliver customized advertising that delivers ROI.

You will manage media campaigns, negotiate rates, and leverage digital options beyond traditional TV. This role requires a proactive seller with strong relationships and CRM discipline.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• 2+ years of proven sales success preferred.
• Experience in strategic account management, broadcast ratings and digital execution preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with proof of insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and agencies.
• Apply the Scripps Sales Process to analyze needs and provide customized advertising solutions.
• Facilitate digital marketing options beyond TV airtime.
• Prospect, secure appointments, perform needs analysis, present and close sales.
• Negotiate program ratings and advertising rates with agencies to maximize revenue.
• Build strong client relationships and seek referrals for new business.
• Manage CRM and activity to meet KPIs and revenue goals.
• Assist in production aspects and contribute to campaign development.
