Job summary

The E.W. Scripps Company's WTXL team in Tallahassee seeks an Account Executive, Local to drive local and regional advertising solutions across TV and digital channels. This role emphasizes consultative selling, needs analysis, and building strong client relationships in the Tallahassee market.

Expect to work with OTT, SEO/SEM, social media, and traditional TV to craft tailored campaigns, while maintaining a robust sales funnel and delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of proven sales success preferred.
• Experience in strategic account management and digital execution is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and insurance may be required.

Responsibilities

• Sell advertising solutions to local and regional businesses and agencies.
• Apply the Scripps Sales Process to analyze client needs and tailor ads.
• Facilitate digital marketing options in addition to TV airtime sales.
• Prospect, set appointments, perform needs analysis, present and close new business.
• Use ratings data, market trends to negotiate rates and build custom solutions.
• Manage CRM, track activity and revenue; maintain client relationships.
• Support creative development and assist production as needed.
