Job summary

TelevisaUnivision's Local Sales Team in New York is seeking an Account Coordinator to support Account Executives with orders, preemptions, avails and rate verification. This role is data-entry and numbers heavy, requiring strong Excel, Strata and WideOrbit proficiency and meticulous attention to detail.

You will coordinate ad copy with traffic, prepare historical rate sheets, track deliverables, and serve as the main point of contact for agencies and stations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS required and related sales/advertising experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks; be organized; detail oriented; time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Exposure to order entry systems and media research tools.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; office in New York, NY.

Responsibilities

• Entering orders into WideOrbit and Strata systems and verifying accuracy.
• Pull preemptions daily and send makegood offers.
• Assisting AEs with pulling avails with correct rates and programming.
• Creating historical rate sheets and trackers in Excel for AEs to cross reference and approve orders and avails.
• Posting, pre-posting on accounts and creating ADU schedules as necessary to ensure deliverables.
• Coordinating ad copy and verifying quality with traffic.
• Serving as main point of contact in the department for the agency, stations and traffic.
• Following up on collections and outstanding invoices by contacting agency and collections department.
• General administrative tasks such as answering calls, preparing reports, etc.
