Job summary

The position requires a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, an active state license, CCC-SLP or CF status, at least one year hospital experience and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state license to practice speech-language pathology.
• CCC-SLP certification by ASHA or SLP-CF considered with supervision.
• Minimum one year of hospital experience.
• BLS for healthcare providers required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans for speech, language, cognition and swallowing disorders.
• Implement therapy and monitor patient progress within the Acute Rehab unit.
• Assist in developing and implementing new programs for department improvement.
