Mercy is seeking a professional Physical Therapist Assistant to support licensed Physical Therapists in delivering patient-centered care. You will perform delegated PT procedures, document progress, and adapt treatments within the established plan while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the PT aide, addressing age-specific needs, and maintaining respect and dignity for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Current license to practice as a PTA in the applicable state.
• Health Care Provider Basic Life Support Certification.
• Entry-level candidates may apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in providing therapy per plan.
• Document patient progress notes and adjust as directed by the PT.
• Safely perform PT procedures and address age-specific patient needs.
• Treat patients and families with respect and dignity; follow pain management policy.
• Identify and report patient safety issues; coordinate workload with the PT aide.
