Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, Colorado seeks a Registered Nurse for the 8 Med/Surg unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, coordinating with the health care team and supervising LPNs/CNAs.

This role requires an active RN license and BSN completion within four years if starting with an ASN/ADN. A comprehensive benefits package and shift differentials are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• AS N/ADN graduates must complete BSN within four years from date of hire unless they have 15+ years of RN acute care experience.
• RNs employed by specified Intermountain facilities as of dates listed may be exempt from the BSN requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize, and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs and participate in clinical team conferences.
• Coordinate care with the health team and adhere to evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
