Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Grand Junction, CO, for the 8 Med/Surg unit. The RN will assess patients, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes. The role includes supervising LPNs/CNAs and collaborating with the health care team to ensure high-quality standards.

The position offers shift differentials, full-time hours, and a comprehensive benefits package, with relocation consideration possible. A BSN within four years is required if starting with ASN/ADN.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• RN with ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four (4) years from hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice required.
• BLS-HCP certification upon hire or within 60 days; ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate for unit.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical team conferences.
• Follow hospital policies, evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
