Job summary

Intermountain Health in Grand Junction, CO is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 8 Med/Surg unit. The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process and collaborate with a diverse health care team to deliver high-quality care.

This role requires a CO RN license and timely BSN completion, with BLS certification. The unit offers growth opportunities, shift differentials, and a relocation bonus may be available where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• ASN/ADN must complete a BSN within four years of hire unless 15+ years RN experience in acute care.
• Some RN hires from specific networks may be exempt from certain requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using the nursing process.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively with patients and team members.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs; participate in clinical conferences.
• Follow hospital and regulatory guidelines for evaluation, treatment and documentation.
