Additional Information About the Role

1. 3 12-hour shifts

3. Weekend Option position – Pays time + 1/2 for weekend shifts
4. Up to $15,000 Sign-On Bonus Eligible (external applicants only)
5. Modified Self-Scheduling in 6-week periods
6. Benefits start on 1st of following month after start date

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient and family-centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on managing illness or injury, post-treatment home care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Engages in professional development.
• Develops, implements, and documents individualized care plans with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family, or caregiver, ensuring communication across the continuum of care.
• Uses critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural needs.
• This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is essential.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Nursing Diploma/Associate's Degree in Nursing
