The Neuroscience Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is a 21-bed unit dedicated to patients requiring specialized nursing care at a critical point, where they are at high risk for deterioration. The unit emphasizes frequent assessment, intervention, treatment, and monitoring, with resources including Nurse Practitioners, Nurse Managers, and a Nurse Educator. It collaborates with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care.
Specialized orientation, ongoing education, and professional development are provided to prepare nurses for neuroscience care and progressive care specifics. The unit is committed to achieving excellent patient outcomes.
The Assistant Nurse Manager supports Nurse Managers and their teams by coordinating patient care, managing performance, overseeing equipment, and handling statistical data. Responsibilities include staffing, budget adherence, staff development, patient care planning, and operational management.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
