MaineGeneral Health System is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to provide comprehensive physical therapy services in our Augusta, ME area. The role focuses on developing, recovering, and maintaining patient mobility and function within an assigned service area.

The PT will perform assessments, implement treatment plans, document progress, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning. Supervisory responsibilities for PT assistants are included where allowed by law.

Aufgaben

• Provides physical therapy services to develop, recover, and maintain mobility.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessments of patient’s condition.
• Implements the treatment plan using appropriate modalities and documents progress.
• Educates and counsels the patient and family/caregiver; assists with discharge planning.
• Supervises and delegates care provided by physical therapy assistants per regulations.
