Job summary

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patient's condition.
• Implement the treatment plan using appropriate modalities.
• Document subjective, objective, and assessment findings and progress.
• Educate and counsel the patient and family/caregiver.
• Plan and assist with discharge from therapy services and setting.
• Provide information on adaptive equipment and support programs.
• Supervise and delegate care provided by physical therapy assistants according to licensing laws and standards.
• Some employees may operate a vehicle for MaineGeneral Health business.
