Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers, Inc. in Aiken, South Carolina, seeks a Speech Language Pathologist PRN to provide evaluation and treatment services to patients in an acute care setting. The ideal candidate will hold a Master's Degree from an accredited SLP program, possess a current SC license, and be certified in SLP. Qualifications

• Prefer 1 year experience in an acute care setting but not required.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessments by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations (language, articulation, voice, and dysphagia).
• Develop appropriate treatment plan based on assessments.
• Implement treatment plan per facility standards.
• Provide patient and family education for discharge.

Skills

Effective communication skills (verbal and written)

Effective interpersonal skills

Clinical competence in speech/language and dysphagia

Education

Master's Degree from an accredited SLP program

Current SC license
