Job summary

Anchor Post Acute is a beautiful 120-bed skilled nursing and rehab facility located behind Aiken Mall in Aiken, South Carolina. We are looking for a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and help residents regain communication skills.

We offer competitive pay of $40-50/hour, flexible scheduling, continuing education, advancement and PRN opportunities, and a supportive, collaborative team. New grads welcome to apply to grow their skills.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
• Current state license in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP preferred; CFY candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize independence and quality of life.
• Assess and treat swallowing disorders to help residents eat and drink safely.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families for resident-centered care.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Celebrate milestones and encourage residents toward meaningful goals.
