Job summary

Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an Acute Care RN for 12-hour night shifts. You will provide safe, evidence-based care for patients with acute surgical and medical conditions, while coordinating with LPNs and other clinicians to ensure optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• ACLS required if telemetry monitoring capabilities exist.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients on admission within 30 minutes.
• Develop and update an outcome-based care plan with patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and discharge planning.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to cardiac events or rhythm changes.
• Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and team members.
