Job summary

Abrazo Arrowhead Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit, coordinating care with other disciplines and supervising staff as needed. You will evaluate nursing practice, participate in hourly rounding, and support patient-centered care across NICU, L&D, ER and other units.

Candidate should hold a nursing degree, Arizona RN license, CPR, and ACLS; NICU/L&D experience preferred.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse licensed in Arizona; CPR required; ACLS as applicable by Facility.
Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
Two years NICU Level III experience including neonatal ventilator.
L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or obtain within six months of hire.
ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath Lab/L&D: ACLS required on orientation.
ER: PALS or ENPC within ninety days.
Post-partum, Nursery, L&D: NRP within orientation.
Bariatrics: certification or specialized training.
Wound Care: Wound-Ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
Determine nursing diagnosis based on assessment and data.
Set practical, realistic outcome goals with patient input and guide toward goals.
Individualize the plan of care based on patient needs.
Implement nursing and medical orders and ensure they are appropriate to the patient’s status.
Other tasks assigned at the hospital.
