The position requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in food service management or related field, with 1 year in food service management preferred in acute care, and a ServSafe certification is desirable.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree with 1 year of work experience in food services or related field or bachelor’s in food service technology/management or related field
• Certified Dietary Manager, Registered Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian preferred
• Minimum 1 year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting
• ServSafe certified desirable
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, electronic medical records, and diet office systems

Aufgaben

• Establish goals and oversee patient food services based on medical direction and patient population
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members
• Ensure dietary restrictions are met within diet order limitations
• Support patient satisfaction goals across units
• Adhere to regulatory standards including HIPAA and patient rights
• Lead patient satisfaction programs and Quality Assurance/PI programs
