NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island is seeking a Manager, Dietary Patient Services to lead all patient food and nutrition operations, from meal delivery to diet office accuracy. You will work hands-on on units, audit tray accuracy, resolve service issues, and drive departmental budgeting, staffing plans, and policy development in partnership with Clinical Nutrition, Culinary, and hospital leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• 3-5 years experience in a managerial or supervisory role in foodservice, healthcare, nutrition, or hospitality.
• ServSafe certified within 6 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Oversees all patient meal service and operations, including meal delivery, tray assembly, and unit delivery.
• Promotes mission and values of Food & Nutrition Services; delivers world-class food and hospitality to staff, patients, and guests.
• Maintains inventory and diet office functions; ensures diet orders are accurately reflected on trays.
• R rounds on units, interacts with patients and families, and performs service recovery as needed.
• Audits meal delivery systems and maintains records; tracks KPIs and product usage.
• Ensures adherence to dietary restrictions and coordinates with nursing and clinical staff.
• Leads staffing, budgeting, policy development, and cross-functional collaboration with Clinical Nutrition, Culinary, and hospital leadership.
