Job summary

Morrison Healthcare is seeking a Patient Services Manager to lead our Patient Services Team in an acute care setting in Atlanta, GA. The role focuses on directing service delivery, staff coaching, and ensuring adherence to dietary and privacy regulations to support patient care quality.

You will hire and develop staff, manage dietary restrictions, and partner with clinical teams to meet patient satisfaction goals while maintaining regulatory compliance and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree with one year of work experience in food services or related field.
• Certified Dietary Manager certificate, RD or RD preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in food service management preferred in an acute care setting.
• ServSafe certification desirable.
• Proficient with MS Office, EMR and diet office systems.

Responsibilities

• Establish goals and oversee implementation of patient food services needs based upon medical direction and patient population.
• Hire, direct, coach, train, and develop patient service team members.
• Comply with dietary restrictions on special or modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of the diet order limitations.
• Ensure patient services staff assists in achieving stated patient satisfaction goals.
• Comply with regulatory standards, including federal, state, and accrediting agencies while adhering to facility confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and patient rights policies.
• Participate in or lead patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and facility-wide Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs.
