Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to join a busy acute care team. This 27-hour/week role offers a day shift and is ideal for a motivated clinician who thrives in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The OT will evaluate, plan and implement therapy, collaborate with physicians and care staff, document outcomes, and support smooth patient transitions while maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an occupational therapy educational program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license from the state of practice.
• BLS certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and plan OT treatment per physician referral and department standards.
• Administer and supervise OT treatment tailored to patient age and needs.
• Document progress and communicate results to care team and family.
• Collaborate with team and participate in discharge planning and care coordination.
• Support department operations and participate in quality/process improvements.
• Ensure competency of personnel and adherence to policies.
