Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant to join the Phoenix campus team. The role focuses on administering therapy under supervision, delivering patient-centered care, and coordinating with the multidisciplinary team in a high-volume academic medical center.

You will work a full-time 40-hour weekday schedule with weekend coverage expectations, providing clinical support across units and contributing to standards of care, documentation, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an Occupational Therapy Assistant program accredited by the AOTA.
• Current Occupational Therapy Assistant license from the state of practice is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card at time of hire and throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Administer occupational therapy treatment per plan of care and monitor progress.
• Document according to department standards and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate treatment results and progress to the care team and patient/family.
• Supervise the Therapy Technician and COTA student as applicable and ensure safe delivery of care.
• Contribute to department operations and process improvements.
