UCI Health, a major academic health system in Orange County, seeks a Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff by taking vital signs, assisting with hygiene, and maintaining a safe unit. You will also stock supplies, operate hospital equipment as directed, and perform routine clerical tasks.

Requirements include English proficiency, CNA/LVN licensure or enrollment in a nursing program, and current BLS. Willingness to float between Orange and Irvine locations and to work weekends/holidays is

Formación

• Understanding of basic medical terminology.
• Must read, write and speak effectively in English.
• Demonstrates ability to communicate in a therapeutic way.
• Current BLS certification (AHA).

Responsabilidades

• Take and record vital signs.
• Assist patients with hygiene and elimination.
• Maintain a clean and safe unit environment.
• Assist with stocking unit supplies and clerical duties.
