Qualifications

• Current RN licensure from the State of Oklahoma required.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required.
• ACLS required and must be complete prior to working in a clinical setting.
• Two years’ experience in acute care; one year charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred.
• Provides effective leadership for patient centered care delivery model.
• Takes lower acuity assignments as needed while leading the team.
• Completes unit patient rounds to evaluate status and quality of care.

Responsibilities

• Assume shift responsibility for planning and provision of direct and indirect nursing care.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary team members and direct nursing staff for safe outcomes.
• Take a patient load and manage care delivery.
• Provide leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversee staff under supervision and support performance reviews.
• Demonstrate professionalism and service excellence in all nursing care.
