Job summary

Mercy Health in Springfield is seeking an LPN for acute care at Springfield Regional Medical Center. The LPN delivers safe and efficient patient care following nursing interventions.

The role requires completion of an accredited LPN program and either current licensure or licensure in progress, with BLS preferred. Telemetry unit experience and EPIC EHR familiarity are beneficial for this position.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program required.
• Current state LPN licensure or licensure in progress (LPN applicant)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• EPIC EHR training or exposure preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia training required for Telemetry units.

Responsibilities

• Gives direct nursing care under supervision of RN/Physician/PA/NP.
• Implements care plan with direct basic nursing care.
• Performs phlebotomy services.
• Contributes to the care plan with input from patient/family and healthcare team.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments within scope of practice.
• Other duties as assigned.
