Job summary

Mercy Health in Kentucky is seeking a licensed practical nurse (LPN) for acute care at Lourdes Hospital. The LPN delivers safe patient care under the supervision of RNs and physicians, performing nursing interventions and clerical tasks to support direct patient care.

You will administer medications, contribute to care plans, perform phlebotomy, and collaborate with the care team in a fast-paced hospital setting. A valid LPN license, BLS, and EPIC EHR familiarity are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program is required.
• Current state LPN licensure or active LPN licensure application.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Gives direct nursing care under supervision of RNs or physicians.
• Implements care plans with input from the care team.
• Performs phlebotomy services as needed.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments within scope.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
