Job summary
Mercy is seeking an LPN to join our Med-Surg Telemetry unit at our Springfield, MO campus. You will provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision and coordinate with other departments to ensure patient rights and confidentiality.
This full-time weekend position offers sign-on bonuses based on experience, education assistance, relocation support, and shift differentials. Education requirements include MO LPN licensure and BLS; LPN-IV certification is preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current LPN license in the hiring state.
- BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- LPN-IV Certification issued by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.
- New or experienced LPN candidates considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care using the nursing process under supervision.
- Coordinate patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
- Work in Mercy's Med-Surg Telemetry unit focusing on adult patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Contribute to the Mercy Innovation Unit with ongoing improvement projects.
