Job summary

Mercy Health’s LPN Acute Care opening at Springfield Regional Medical Center seeks a compassionate nurse to deliver safe, efficient patient care during the night shift. The LPN will perform direct patient care, assist with care plans, and manage basic nursing tasks in partnership with RNs and physicians.

Qualified candidates have an LPN license and complete LPN program; BLS may be preferred. Department: Neuro Med/Surg - Springfield 3E.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited LPN program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care under supervision of RN/physician/APN.
• Implement the plan of care per LPN scope.
• Perform phlebotomy services.
• Contribute to the plan of care with input from patient/family and team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Other duties as assigned.
