Essentia Health is seeking a hospital pharmacist to interpret orders, verify accuracy, dispense medications, monitor patient therapies and provide comprehensive drug information. The role includes training new staff and supporting the infusion therapy center.

Minimum qualifications include a BS or PharmD, with ASHP-accredited residency preferred or 3+ years hospital pharmacy experience. Minnesota licensure or eligibility within 90 days of hire is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in interpretation, order verification, dispensing and monitoring of medications.
• Ability to provide comprehensive medication information to patients, families and medical staff.
• Assist daily departmental activities and precepting students, interns and residents.

Responsabilités

• Interpret and verify medication orders, dispense accurately and monitor therapies.
• Educate patients and staff about medications and potential adverse effects.
• Participate in residency/student training and support infusion therapy activities as needed.
