Job summary

Essentia Health Park Rapids Pharmacy is hiring a pharmacist to interpret, dispense and monitor medications, optimizing drug therapy and immunizations for patients and healthcare partners. The role includes training staff, supervising technicians, handling billing, audits and daily pharmacy operations.

The position requires a Minnesota or Wisconsin pharmacist license, BLS, immunization delivery certification, and ongoing continuing education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a college of pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
• Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist in Minnesota or Wisconsin.
• BLS certification within one week of hire and immunization certification at time of hire.
• Ongoing continuing education and license renewal.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, dispense and monitor medications to optimize outcomes.
• Provide immunizations and clinical drug therapy optimization.
• Train staff, supervise technicians/interns and handle billing/audits.
• Maintain inventory, care for supplies/equipment, and cash handling.
