Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Senior Principal Actuation Systems Leader to guide complex actuation and motion control programs. You will lead design, test, and production support for high-performance actuation systems within the Radar Analog and Power Department, collaborating across electrical, mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.

The role requires mastery of control systems, power conversion, and a strong track record in lifecycle development, with DoD security clearance eligibility.

Qualifications

• Requires a STEM degree with 10+ years of experience; or an advanced degree with 7+ years.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with electromagnetic or electrohydraulic control actuation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tasks autonomously and mentor other professionals within the Radar Power and Digital organization.
• Define and develop technical solutions for high-performance actuation systems and motion control challenges.
• Support product lifecycle from concept to production and provide cross-disciplinary collaboration.
