Job summary

Raytheon Technologies in Massachusetts seeks an Actuation Systems Leader (P4 Electrical Engineer) to lead complex actuation and control system projects, mentoring professionals and collaborating with IPTs. The role requires strong systems engineering, design-to-manufacture experience, and travel up to 10% for supplier or customer sites.

You will work onsite with a team focused on actuation design, testing, and integration across multiple platforms, including high-load electromechanical systems

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 8+ years of experience or an advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience with electromagnetic or electrohydraulic actuation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex tasks and mentor team members within a multidisciplinary group.
• Provide input to the strategic vision for functional and organizational priorities.
• Develop technical solutions for high-performance actuation systems and motion control challenges.
• Apply systems engineering principles to define and solve actuation problems and guide cross-functional teams.
