Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional working experience.
• Understands fundamental analytical concepts, practices and procedures.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• A high degree of self-motivation and demonstrates high attention to detail.
• Intellectual curiosity and creativity.
• MS Office, Excel and SQL usage is expected; R, Python and Power BI are bonus points.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks of a mathematical and quantitative nature using established procedures.
• Learn fundamental actuarial concepts, practices and procedures.
• Become familiar with company operations, systems and actuarial methodologies.
• Utilize actuarial tools and modeling software for pricing, valuation, and/or risk management.
• Analyze industry trends to identify impact on financials, reserves, and pricing processes.
• Create and present a final presentation for management and leadership members at the close of the internship program highlighting the work you accomplished throughout the summer.
