Job summary

MassMutual seeks an Actuarial Director of Consolidated Reporting & Regulatory Oversight to lead enterprise valuation reporting, including quarter-end and year-end processes, and translate complex results for senior leadership across the CFO organization.

You will drive the annual asset adequacy testing cycle, establish enterprise-wide governance, documentation standards, and a monitoring framework for regulatory requirements, ensuring timely, transparent reporting and continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance, data science or closely related field.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
• 7+ years’ actuarial experience in valuation and reporting.
• 5+ years’ experience working with valuation systems.
• 3+ years’ exposure to valuation regulations and financial statements under US Statutory and GAAP reporting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation, review, and delivery of quarterly and year-end consolidated valuation results, exhibits, disclosures, and actuarial reporting deliverables across applicable reporting bases.
• Own the consolidated analysis of reserve movements, earnings impacts, assumption and model changes, experience variances, and other key drivers of financial results.
• Synthesize results across business lines and legal entities to identify emerging themes and risks and provide forward-looking insights to senior leadership.
• Establish consistent valuation governance, documentation, controls, change management, and review standards.
• Partner with key stakeholders to align actuarial reporting with financial statements, management reporting, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead the annual asset adequacy and cash flow testing cycle, including planning, governance, production coordination, aggregation, review, and communication of results.
