Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a Director of Annuity Valuation to lead the valuation and actuarial reporting for annuity blocks, including acquired and ceded solutions. You will manage a team of quantitative professionals and partner with stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely financial insights.

This role requires deep valuation knowledge across individual and group annuities, strong leadership and communication abilities, and the drive to improve valuation methodologies, data, and governance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher required.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries preferred.
• 3+ years of valuation/regulatory experience in US Stat/GAAP reporting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead valuation and actuarial reporting for annuity blocks.
• Manage a team of quantitative professionals.
• Develop and implement valuation methodologies and governance processes.
• Communicate financial results to senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data and modeling teams to enhance valuation data and models.
• Ensure timely preparation of regulatory exhibits and respond to inquiries.
