Job summary

MassMutual is seeking a Financial Reporting & Analysis Associate to join the Management, Statutory Audited and Regulatory Reporting Team in Boston, MA or Springfield, MA. The role focuses on producing regulatory, audited and management reports, leveraging reporting systems, and collaborating with CFO teams to ensure accurate financial results.

You will work on quarterly/annual exhibits, state filings, and close processes while supervising offshore staff and driving improvements in reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or advanced degree preferred.
• 3 years of experience with audited statements and regulatory or GAAP reporting in life insurance.
• 1 year of experience with GL reporting cubes/warehouses and data gathering from multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Produce, analyze and deliver regulatory, audited and management reports.
• Utilize key financial reporting systems and collaborate with internal/external customers.
• Monitor key controls and perform quality assurance on inputs.
• Supervise offshore team members for query refreshes and QA reviews.
• Support quarterly close process and track notable items.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and drive process improvements.
